Thank you Salem, VA for the print order of the New Orleans Jazz Band playing at the Cafe du Monde. So many French Quarter places a jazz group would gather and immediately draw a large crowd. I hope you have been able to visit New Orleans and enjoy this unique City. Enjoy your picture. Thank you again. dals

Artist's Description

New Orleans is bustling with activity year round and is an interesting place to live. Squeezed into a small area on the Mississippi River is the French Quarter. Here you find Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the St. Louis Catherdral, the French Market, and Cafe du Monde -- the famous coffee and beignet doughnut restaurant & much more. In February, a rainy day with a breeze off the River can be very chilling, but entertaining jazz groups are always close by. This is a city that never stops.

Moving onto Aberdeen, Scotland in 1978 I joined the Women's Petroleum Club art group which was being taught by persons from Gray's School of Art. I attended evening classes at Gray's School which was overwhelming & enjoyable. Returning to the USA in 1984 I mostly continued china painting initiated...
