Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

The New Orleans Mardi Gras day closes down the city until midnight with parades and crowds of people. After hurricane Katrina in 2005 the city persevered and again celebrated their beloved Mardi Gras.

My current profile picture is with a background pastel portrait done at "The Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans in 1967. The pastel was by George Bohland who later had a shop on Bourbon Street. My husband was a commercial saturation diver working in the Gulf with Marine Contracting and we later moved to the area. I started painting at a very late age. My husband's work took us to London in 1976 where I enjoyed the Galleries & Museums. Moving onto Aberdeen, Scotland in 1978 I joined the Women's Petroleum Club art group which was being taught by persons from Gray's School of Art. I attended evening classes at Gray's School which was overwhelming & enjoyable. Returning to the USA in 1984 I mostly continued china painting initiated...
