Artist's Description

The 47th Super Bowl was played February 3, 2013 in the Superdome in New Orleans. The Roman numerals for 47 are XLVII. It was an exciting and close game . The Baltimore Ravens won against the San Francisco 49ers 34 to 31. This scene depicts my daugthter's photo at the Pontalba building in the French Quarter this evening of the 47th Super Bowl football game.
The Pontalba Building was built in the 1840's by the Baroness Pontalba. There are twin buildings, one block long from St. Louis Cathedral to Cafe' du Monde on Decatur Sreet and overlooking Jackson Square. They are Parisian style row houses which are an early concept of Townhouses. Apartments are on the upper levels while restaurants and boutique shops are on the street level. History in New Orleans is fascinating. Enjoy. dals

I attended evening classes at Gray's School which was overwhelming & enjoyable. Returning to the USA in 1984 I mostly continued china painting initiated...
