"Tabby" always attends her master to the veggie garden just past the wooded area behind my home. Our nice neighbor keeps the neighborhood supplied with tomatoes which I love broiled for breakfast.
A 2011 update -- my friendly gardening neighbor & his wife have taken residency with their daughter & son-in-law. They will be missed.
A 2018 update - neighbor's daughters home burned from an electrical fire requiring all to move. So Dallas moved last year to a local independent living facility & doing very well. dals
My current profile picture is with a background pastel portrait done at "The Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans in 1967. The pastel was by George Bohland who later had a shop on Bourbon Street. My husband was a commercial saturation diver working in the Gulf with Marine Contracting and we later moved to the area. I started painting at a very late age. My husband's work took us to London in 1976 where I enjoyed the Galleries & Museums. Moving onto Aberdeen, Scotland in 1978 I joined the Women's Petroleum Club art group which was being taught by persons from Gray's School of Art. I attended evening classes at Gray's School which was overwhelming & enjoyable. Returning to the USA in 1984 I mostly continued china painting initiated...

Thank you East Lansing, MI for your picture order. As years have passed my lovely neighbor that brought me so many fresh veggies is now living in an independent living facility. He misses gardening but has this original painting. So this recalls is a memory for us. Enjoy!
