Description
My father, C. H. Lewis, was President of the American Rose Society and our yard was full of beautiful roses. My favorite was a climber, GUINEE, which grew to a height about 25-30 feet high. It was the darkest crimson red with velvet smooth pedals. He photographed his roses, flowers & wildlife which I still enjoy. The Virginia Room at the Roanoke Library has about 5,000 of his slides in a collection.
