About Douglas Ann Slusher
I was named Douglas after an uncle, so I use the double given name Douglas Ann (Lewis was my maiden name). I started painting at a very late age. My husband's work took us to London in 1976 where I enjoyed the Galleries & Museums. Moving onto Aberdeen, Scotland in 1978 I joined the Women's Petroleum Club art group which was being taught by persons from Gray's School of Art. I attended evening classes at Gray's School which was very overwhelming & enjoyable. Returning to the USA in 1984 I mostly continued china painting initiated in Scotland. Various Senior Citizen Centers offered art lessons & presently as a member of the "League of Roanoke Artists" they are my critique group. I only paint in oils now. Enjoy my images. "dals"
