Description
My Dad, C.H.Lewis, was an avid rose grower, displayer, judge and a President of the American Rose Society. Photography of nature, flowers, and birds was his next love. Spending winters in Phoenix, he had his own made set-up of lights and remote controls to capture hummingbirds. Eastern Bluebirds, Red Tail Hawks, various bird nests of new babies are viewed in his slide collection in the VA Room Library in Roanoke, VA.

I've always loved this painting and its so fascinating to learn about your dad and his love of nature, birds, and photography. He and my dad would have gotten along well.
